Pagpasok ng taong 2020 ay sinalubong ito ng pag alburuto ng Bulkang Taal, maraming pamilya ang lumikas at nawalan ng tahanan dahil sa epekto ng pagbuga nito ng mga abo.
Sa kanyang pananahimik ng ilang buwan, muli itong gumulantang sa mga tao doon ng magtala ang phivolcs ng 5 lindol sa loob ng 24 oras.
Ayon sa phivolcs ang naganap na lindol ay dahil umano sa rock fracturing processes na nagaganap sa ilalim nito.
Nilagay naman sa alert level 1 ang pangyayaring ito sa Taal at striktong pinagbabawalan pa rin ang pumunta sa mga permanent danger zone.

Steam was emitted by vents on the main crater, which reached heights of 20 to 30 meters. Those found along the Kastila Trail also showed similar activities.
The volcano is still under Alert Level 1, which according to Phivolcs would comprise steam-driven or phreatic explosions, minor ashfall, volcanic earthquakes, or expulsion of volcanic gas. Local government units are advised to keep monitoring the volcanic activities and those surrounding areas must be scrutinized for damage.
Barangays must also strengthen their preparedness and communication measures. Residents must also observe precautionary measures and must remain vigilant.
Taal Volcano is one of the most famous volcanoes in the Philippines. It is also considered as a tourist destination.
